Our Christmas

Here is our Christmas...First I want to start off by thanking my wonderful Friend and her family for the great surprise on the Sunday before Christmas...I was very surprised and grateful for what they brought...they brought us a huge bag of gifts for our whole family...Thanks for making me cry...like I haven't done that enough this year...love you guys...here are a few pictures of the kids opening those gifts...they loved them as you can tell...

On Christmas eve we always go to Jeff's Grandparents for a party...It's not complete with playing a few games...here are the kids playing a little Slap Jack with daddy...and Xander taking a little Christmas Eve snooze...

Great-Grandma and Grandpa buy each of the little kids a gift...all the kids over 12 play the gift exchange game...I got bath and body works lotion.....

Here are all the grand kids and great-grand kids that were there...wait thats not right..her the kids under 12...the baby I'm holding is Jeff's new cousin Justice...She was born on the 20th...

Gotta love reindeer food...

Christmas morning...We spend the night at Jeff's moms house and open gifts there...the kid got so much stuff...it was a really fun Christmas...The other little boy in the picture is Eric...He is Jeff's little brother...

Christmas afternoon we get together with my family...This year we did it at the church...In my fam we draw names every year...But this year the gifts had to be home made...I thought it was really fun...My brother Jeff had my name...He made me funeral potatoes...and made a really cool custom label on them with his picture and all the ingredients...I'll take a picture of it and blog it later...Our Family gathering wouldn't be complete with out some Basketball and Food...

This year we also had a little talent show...It was so cute...Skyler even sang "My Country Tis of Thee"... After that we went back to Jeff's moms for dinner and that about sums up Christmas...it was a great year...



Happy Birthday Xander...I cant believe he is 1!!!!...still not walking and he only says 1 word (DA DA) but he is the cuddliest sweetest baby I know...

Today my little Hayden turned 2!!! I can't believe how fast he has grown up... Here are a few fun things about him...

He loves to tell us NO!!! It doesn't matter what you are asking him most of the time the first answer you get is NO!!!

He loves any balls...He loves watching football with daddy and throwing everything...

He will eat apple sauce for every meal of the day and still want more when he has eaten everything on his plate...

He love to brush his teeth...We are constantly taking him out of the bathroom and putting his tooth brush away...

He loves Pooh Bear...It can be a little embarrassing when we are in the store and he is yelling Poo Poo at the top of his lungs...

He knows 3 baby signs...Thank you, Please and More...When I tell him Good Morning he does the sign for more...It is sooo cute...

He has started fighting back when Sky and Ash bother him...It's really hard to discipline him when he clobbers one of them and they really deserved it...

Pictures With Santa!!!

Sunday our apartment complex had a Christmas party...They ask me to take pictures of the kids on Santa's lap...I was happy to do it..I know it was Sunday but it was for a good cause...Some of the kids were happy to see him and others cried and cried....I thought my kiddos would do fine...I was wrong...Sky and Ash did great and actually had nice smiles...Xander was ok at first but when he realized where he was started to cry....Hayden didn't want to have anything to do with Santa....but like the good mom I am I made him sit there for a picture...I'm sure someday he will look back at it and laugh..

Good Times... Family Times...

Tonight we had Family night...We decorated Christmas ornament and Ginger Bread Man cookies... It was so much fun...Hayden thought it was funner to color the table than his ornament and just wanted to eat the candy for the cookie...Oh well it was still fun spending time with the family...Even Jeff and Uncle Mike got in on the action...Here are a few pictures from tonight...

A Special Day With Grandpa

Today I had a Craft Fair...I didn't have anyone to watch Hayden so my Dad Volunteered...Thanks Dad!!!...They went to lunch and Hayden got to go with Grandpa to pick up a prescription...At the pharmacy he got a "Poo Poo" (Winnie the Pooh) sticker...He was so proud of it and wouldn't stop saying "Poo Poo"...and he had to show it to everyone...Grandpa also took him to Cabelas...They had so much fun walking around and looking at everything...Hayden liked all the toy stuffed animals and wanted to give them all kisses...Then Grandpa tried to get him to kiss a real stuffed animal and Hayden said" Gross!!!! Yuck!!!"....He wouldn't stop kissing a stuffed bear so Pa Pa had to buy it for him...what a big softy!!!...Then they went over to Andrea's house and Hayden got to play with his cousin Emily...Hayden calls her "Books"...lol....the first time they played together they read books so that's what he calls her...sooo funny...Hayden didn't want to leave Andrea's house....Then they went back to Grandpa's house and Pa Pa made him some dinner...Then when Grandma got home they brought him home...He was so excited to show me his bear and sticker...I love to see my kids enjoy their Pa Pa so much....What a Special day with Grandpa...

Happy Day

Yesterday was Jeff and I 9th anniversary...I know who'd of thought we could make it that long...It hasn't been easy but I love him more and more everyday...we celebrated with slurpies and taquidos from 7-eleven....woo hoo so much fun...lol...we are going to do something in January when we have money again...

Disney on Ice

Thursday night Ashlynn, My Mom, Marcey, Jared and I went to Disney on Ice...It was so much fun...It was a complete suprise for Ash...She didnt know until we were there and I told her what we were doing...She thought we were going to the Circus...It was so fun to watch her watch the show...
I got a few good pictures but not very many...

Christmas Tree

This year we decided to put the tree up a lot earlier than usual...we usually don't put it up until a week before Christmas...I know that's late but id rather not fight with the kids over touching the tree...so far they have been great...It has been up sense Saturday and no casualties yet...(tree or children)...We have a tradition in our family, as I'm sure a lot of you do, to buy the kids a new ornament every year... Something to represent their year or a character that they really like...then when we decorate the tree the kids get to take turns putting their ornament on the tree...It is so fun to see them get excited over all the different ornaments they have and to tell them the story behind them...We also buy sierra one every year...They kids get even more excited to put hers on the tree...

When I was a kid we would decorate the tree as a family...Putting the ornaments where ever we wanted...then with out fail after we had gone to bed my mom would redecorate the tree...making sure all the larger balls were on the bottom and the smaller ones were on the top...there weren't 2 on the same branch...no 2 colors were close together...lol...i love it...that's mom for you...well i must have inherited that, because until this year I have done the same thing...But this year I just left it...I think it gives the tree personalty (it sure needs it)...we will see how long i can stand all the ornaments on the front of the tree...

The Weekend

today i went to the craft show...it was fun...so many things i would have loved to buy but so little money to buy it with...Jeff came home today...WOO HOO...it is so nice to have him here, even if it is only until Monday morning...I'm looking forward to thanks giving...good food, good football and family fun...also my sister and her family are moving back to Spokane that weekend and I'm sooooooooo excited..i bought the kids Christmas outfits yesterday...they are cute...i think i am going to attempt to take their pictures tomorrow...sometimes i don't have any trouble taking their pictures but most of the time its not fun...wish me luck...well until next time, BE GOOD!!!

Tonight was girls night out...Just a small group tonight...We went to P.F. Chang's....Tthe food was great and the prices were really good....My fortune cookie said I talk to much...And its true I do...But oh well that's me...I tried a little tofu tonight...Not to bad...But not something I could eat all the time....

Yesterday took a day off from blogging...because i have been wiped out...tonight I'm going crazy...but I'm finding it hard to complain about my life when Arah is going through this hard time...so ill tell this story with out wining about my life ....My sweet sweet little Ashlynn...Ok this is how it starts...tonight i went over to my aunts house for a little while and left sky ash and Hayden with mike...Hayden went to bed and the older kids were supposed to be watching a movie in my bed...My dear little Ashlynn decided to color on my window seal and blinds...this is not like her...i still don't know why she did it...then she go into the gum from Halloween that has been put up and started to chew and play with it...being the crafty little girl she is she thought it would be cute to have a necklace out of it....need less to say it got all over in her hair...after using half a container of peanut butter i still had to cut some of it out of her hair...then the task of getting all that peanut butter out of her hair...2 baths later she is tucked soundly into bed...I'm sure someday ill look back at this and laugh a lot...but for no ill just laugh a little...

I want to start this blog entry by saying Thank You to Matt, Arah, Brinley and the rest of their family for letting me be a part of Olivia short precious life...It was truly an experience I will cherish forever...What a sweet little angle our Heavenly Father sent to your family...I am comforted in knowing that my little Sierra has a best friend in heaven with her now...Arah...You are a ROCK!!!...I am so blessed to call you my friend...Matt...What a great Father and Husband you are...Arah is blessed to have you as her eternal companion...Brinley...You are going to be a great big sister, and Olivia will always be by your side...

When Arah first told me about her baby my heart sank for her...I cried a lot for the first few weeks knowing a tiny bit of how they felt...I tried to think of what was most comforting to me when Sierra died but nothing was coming...The only thing I could think of was to just be there for anything their family needed, and hope that they knew I would do anything I could for them...Then Arah ask me to be at the hospital with them when they had the baby to take pictures...I told her I would be honored to do it...Over the next 3 months my emotions were on a roller coaster...There were days when I thought to myself, what was I thinking when I said "Yes"...I can't handle this...I was worried that I would be too emotional and not be a good support to Arah...But at the end of the day I was always comforted and knew that it would be ok...As I walked through the hospital on my way to their room this morning my heart was pounding and I just kept saying to myself, "I will be ok, you can do this."...When I entered their room The most peaceful calming feeling came over me and I could feel the spirit so strong...I knew Sierra was right there with me to hold me up...It was so amazing to me to see Matt and Arah's Tiny Little Angel Baby and know she just came from Heaven and was so perfect that she would be returning right back to Heavenly Fathers arms...Thank You again for sharing this with me...I hope and pray that some of the pictures I took will bring you comfort...I love you guys like my family...May God be with you until you hold your Sweet Olivia again...

He's Home!!!!!!

Jeff got to come home tonight instead of Saturday...I'm so excited to have him home...For the last 3 weeks he has been out of town Monday through Saturday night... We miss him like crazy... The kiddos are glad to have daddy home... And my life should be a little easier...
