Sometimes I dont know why....

Sometimes I don't know why I even bother going to church...My boys were so naughty and I feel bad disrupting everyone else...My Mom and Dad probably didn't hear most of what was said due to Xander saying "Nana...Papa...Papa...Papa...Nana...Nana...Mama...Papa...Papa...Papa...
Papa...Papa..."all through the meeting...and Hayden just wanted to go to his class and play "shoots" (Basketball)...Sky was off today also which is unusual for him because he usually does great at church...I guess it was just one of those days...I haven't been feeling great and i woke up with one of those every hair on my head hurts head aches...but I'm glad I went...The kids love their classes and I really enjoyed mine...And right now i can use all the spiritual uplift i can get...I am still working hard on being a better mom but have thus far been unsuccessful at not yelling...I guess if i yell a little less everyday then one of these days i wont be yelling at all...right?...ok I'm done venting for now thanks for listening...

Confessions of a stressed out Mom...

So here it goes...I am so stressed out these past few months...With Jeff out of town i feel like I have a huge weight on my shoulders...It started with the move...I thought once we were in a bigger place with a yard that things would be easier for me this summer...Boy was I wrong...Now i have to worry about if the kids are destroying a yard that isn't ours...getting into things they shouldn't play with...and starting fights with the neighbor kids...I feel like they are always in trouble...I feel like I'm yelling all the time...I feel like a bad mom...I had plans to take them all these fun places this summer but the truth is I can't take all 4 of them anywhere without getting to stressed out...I have been sick to my stomach all summer knowing Jeff wont be here and that I'm am playing single parent...I wasn't cut out to be a single parent and I admire those people who do such a great job with it...ON top of this all Skyler is going through some crazy stuff right now...I have tried everything I can think of to deal with him but nothing is working...I am always after him for something and he is out of control...I just don't know what to do anymore...He is going into the doctor in a few weeks for a full physical to make sure everything is OK and to see if there is anything we can do to help him out...I'm tired of yelling and yelling and yelling...I want to take my kiddos fun places and have a good time...Maybe I need help...I love them so much and I love to see them happy and it is killing me to see them so sad this summer...Today they were good most of the day so we went to the park with some friends...It was so nice to just let them play and relax...on the way there i kept thinking what am i doing this is going to be a disaster....but in the end they all behaved and didn't even throw a fit when we left...

OK i know this was long and just something i needed to get off my chest..so thanks for listening...my goal this week is to have fun with my kids and not yell...OK now that everyone knows i have to stick to it..hold me accountable...ask me how i did...

Hello Family

I am sending this email out in hopes that I can get all your input. I have decided that it is time that we put together a Family Cook Book! What I need from you is all your favorite recipes. Things you love to cook, eat, share and have tried. Make sure the recipe is complete with instructions and the name of the person who submitted it. Please send lots of recipes so our book will be filled with lots of ideas. If there is a fun story or special memory to go with it share that too. I only have a few email addresses so if you will spread the word to other family members that would be great. I have set up an email just for the recipes. It is famcookbook@rocketmail.com . I would like to have all the recipes to me by October 1st so we can get it printed by Christmas. As soon as I know how many pages it will be I will let you know the cost. It should be under $10.00. My crazy quilting sisters

Here's to my crazy 2 sisters who have completely deserted me and mom, to move to BFA...Mom and I are Quilting!!! yes I said Quilting...We are going to make a table runner with with a group of sisters from the ward...I know you have both been bitten by the quilting bug so I'm giving it a try...mom's will turn out perfect and well mine I'm just hoping to finish it...Mom is making hers with Christmas prints and here is my pallet of fabric...wish me luck...

Home...

We are home...sorry I didn't update while I was there...our Internet was to slow....here are a few things we did...Lori watched the kids for an evening while Jeff and i went out to dinner...Thanks Lori...

we went to the zoo...it was really hot but we had a great time...

on the 4th we had a BBQ at Jeff's dad's house...That was a lot of fun...
on the 5th we went to a family reunion on my mom's family ranch...
the kids got to horse back ride...

and float the river...

we bought a Nintendo Wii...It is sooooooo much fun and even Hayden can play it....
Ashlynn go a mosquito bite and it got infected....it swelled up to be about 10 cem across....her little arm is hard and swollen...she is now on antibiotics and a close watch for other infections....if she starts to get sick in the next few weeks she has to be checked for West Nile because there have been a few out breaks in Boise area....Tuesday morning we packed up the car and drove to McCall and met my parents who were on their way home from the reunion...we traveled together from there home...now back to my crazy life....
