Locks-for-love

Ashlynn and i went and got our hair cut yesterday...I wasn't planning on getting mine cut but Ash talked me into it... We both donated our hair to Locks-for-love...they make wigs for kids with cancer...Ashlynn got over 14inches cut off..I love how it turned out...As for mine you all know how much I love my hair short and I will complain about it until it grows back out...here a few photos...

TIME OUT!!!

Sometimes we as mothers, Wives, Taxi Drivers, and all the other rolls we play as women in this world need a Time Out...

After a week of 4 really sick children and 1 sick hubby I needed a Time Out.....

After cleaning up messes and changing diapers and drying tears and stooping fights and doing home work and making dinner and watching barbie movies over and over and doing laundry and all the other things i do very day I needed a Time Out...Don't get me wrong I love being a mom but sometimes I need a Time out...SO for my Birthday I got tickets to the Time Out Life Seminar and Time Out for Women....and a hotel room at the Spokane Club with my mom my aunt and my cousin.... Skyler didn't want me to go....he got very emotional so I told him I was going so I could learn to be a better mom, wife and person.....He kept crying and told me I was already a better mom.....so sweet...

Time out was AMAZING!!!!....I cant even begin to explain the things i learned and the spirit i felt....I have heard Some of the talks before but I took new things from them....The speakers were speaking to me....

I have never laughed so hard and cried at the same time in my life...

My mom got really sick and missed almost of Saturday....Kris took really good notes for her...Sorry mom...

Andrea got to come for Friday night and Saturday....It was fun to be there with her....just like
EFY!!!....

After Time Out I was glad to be back in all the rolls I play....

And yes I am a better mother...just a little but i have to start some where....

Whats going on in our house...

Hayden learned to climb out of his bed a while back so we decided to put the toddler bed up for him....I was dreading this but it has been great...Well now its going great....The first week we would go in to check on him only to find him sound asleep on the floor...But this week he has been in his bed every night...

Sick Kiddos....Ash was sick a few weeks back but no one else seemed to get it...Saturday Skyler wasn't feeling well and by Sunday he was running a high fever and coughing so hard that he couldn't breath....He stayed home from school Mon and Tuesday but went to school on Wednesday because he had a part in the First Grade play last night...Today he is home from school until 11:15...I will take him to school for class pictures...Hayden Started running a high fever on Monday and just laid on the couch for a few days...His just now feeling better.....

Skylers First Play...Skyler got a part in the First Grade Play...He was a Tailor Bird in the play "How the Beetle Got His Coat"....He had a few speaking lines and did a great job....And yes I make his sweet costume..lol...He loved it!!!

This Time of Year!!!

I love this time of year when it is starting to get warmer and the kids can be out side more....Jeff's job starts picking up...Soccer season starts....My Birthday...April Conference...and a whole bunch of other things....I dread this time of year because we live in an apartment and my kids have no where to play or ride there bikes....Jeff works out of town....Soccer season starts...but I still love my Birthday and April Conference....so I guess I need to stop complaining because I have more to like than dislike...

Broken Foot

I wish I had a good story to tell about my foot but the honest truth is that I just stepped down on my foot and it broke...So for the next 2 weeks I get to stay off it and wear this attractive boot...For now it really hurts and I am thankful when the time comes to take a pain pill...My armpits are sore from the crutches but I only use them when I'm out...

My wonderful loving husband stayed home from work today to take care of me and the kids and I am grateful for that...He even changed all the diapers...Good times in the next 2 weeks!!!!!

Over due...

Ok so here is the long over due blog update...i really have no excuse except for lazzzzzzy nessssssss.....so here we go....Skyler hasn't been doing much except driving me nuts....A lot of 7 year old winnnnnnnnnning...like right now....ahhhhhhhhhhh....Ashlynn went to cheer camp, turned 6 and got to make her first trip to build a bear.....Hayden has broken the mold of my perfect little toddler record and learned to crawl out of hie crib, wake up at the butt crack of dawn, color all over the walls and be as naughty as he possibly can while at the same time being the curtest kid i ever saw.....Xander is still my baby...and by baby i mean baby...he is 14 months old and not walking just starting to feed him self and still drinking out of his bottle religiously....Jeff's work is just starting to pick up again so that is good...I am trying to get back on the track loosing weight and get my house in order...I would like to buy a house this spring so I spend a lot of time looking for one we can afford...My sister came to town for a visit and we through my dad a surprise 60th birthday party....it was so much fun...he had no idea....each of us 6 kids had to make a cake that represented our dad....ill post the pictures....Other that that everything is just as normal as can be...ill try to be better about updating from here on out...(Just for you Mary)...lol...here are some pictures to go with my post...
